A lighting model designed for Circularity

Traditional Cat A lighting is wasteful and short-lived. Landlords pay the full capital cost for luminaires that are often removed during tenant fit out, creating unnecessary waste and embodied carbon. 18 Circular replaces this single-use model with a managed system designed for continuous reuse.

Circular Lighting-as-a-Service

We provide high-quality, track-mounted luminaires that you rent for as long as needed. You pay an initial 30 percent contribution compared with 100 percent under business-as-usual procurement, followed by a small monthly rental per luminaire.

When the tenancy changes or the space is reconfigured, we recover every fitting, refurbish it and redeploy it elsewhere. Nothing is wasted and every component remains in active service.

THE 18 CIRCULAR PROCESS

Plan and design — We work with your general contractor and MEP engineering teams to plan a simple, adaptable track layout that supports future tenant flexibility.
Install — We manage design documentation, supply and logistics. Luminaires are delivered in reusable Geopak cases for rapid installation and zero packaging waste.
Use — Each project benefits from energy-efficient, United Kingdom-made LED lighting designed for long life, easy maintenance and digital traceability through QR-coded passports.
Recover and reuse — When lighting is no longer needed, we collect, test and refurbish each luminaire before redeploying it on the next project. The system ensures verifiable circular performance across every lifecycle.

What you get

With 18 Circular, you achieve lower upfront investment while unlocking significant embodied carbon savings. Studies show reductions of up to 80 percent compared with traditional Cat A schemes.

Our model aligns with key ESG frameworks including GRESB, NABERS UK, BREEAM and CIBSE TM65, while completely eliminating strip-out and packaging waste.
